From bad to worse

  • If I ever start to wonder why I don't 'believe' then these insane religious zealots are a great reminder.
  • Awesome. The story is only marginally interesting, but the images of cows on Parliament Hill, and the shot of Stephen Harper with the lovely sign in the background are priceless.
  • Goooooooo team! Now I want a rocket license too.
  • Meow! They found the oldest evidence of humans keeping cats as pets, dated over 9,000 years ago, which was about twice as old as previously believed, though this wasn't exactly a timid housecat.
  • Something reeks strongly of dung and of copping-out. I really have trouble believing anything that the american governement tells the media, particularly on the subject of terrorism.
  • Bravo to the Register for this one. Also related is this link from Metafilter, which Luke posted a few days ago, concerning the homogeneity of modern crap music. Kind of makes a person ask: why should I pay for a whole disc of the same song?
  • On a related note, interesting concept, which I welcome with open arms; down with the spin doctors (and I'm not talking about the band).
