Awesome. The story is only marginally interesting, but the images of cows on Parliament Hill, and the shot of Stephen Harper with the lovely sign in the background are priceless.
Meow! They found the oldest evidence of humans keeping cats as pets, dated over 9,000 years ago, which was about twice as old as previously believed, though this wasn't exactly a timid housecat.
Something reeks strongly of dung and of copping-out. I really have trouble believing anything that the american governement tells the media, particularly on the subject of terrorism.
Bravo to the Register for this one. Also related is this link from Metafilter, which Luke posted a few days ago, concerning the homogeneity of modern crap music. Kind of makes a person ask: why should I pay for a whole disc of the same song?
On a related note, interesting concept, which I welcome with open arms; down with the spin doctors (and I'm not talking about the band).
