Last week we tried to go togo to Aizu Wakimatsu. Its not so far from where i live.. on a map.. but driving in japan is like pulling teeth. It takes about 1 hr go 50km .. and thats if there is no traffic. I’m not sure why its like that.. one could be that no road goes in a straight line and they like street lights. The long and short of it is, we didn’t make it cause the road we choose to take was under construction in the mountains… blargh! But it was a nice drive none the less.
anyways… dont feel much like writing these days.. so on with le show..
Fukashima prefecture on the way to Aizu Wakimatsu(sp?) ..
We actually never made it to said place because they closed the road on us through the mountains and finding another way would have taken another 2 hrs… but we did find snow
..so we got diverted down some random mountain road and found a lost shrine so we decided to check it out. It looks a little ‘Blair Witch’ .. i think i may now be cursed since ive been sick since the trip.
Receiving ‘lost mountian shrine’ power up. Sweet!
