About 2 weeks ago I went to a place near where I live called Nikko. Its pretty famous as things go.. and today I have some extra time so here are some pics. You`ll notice I am still alive. Good for me. I spent about 3 days there , drinking beer and doing nothing..

It`s a pretty cool place. My manager lives there so I will grab pics of the temples and stuff like that the next time I go.

So that’s whats happened recently.. right now its almost halloween so I sing a lot of songs and play a lot of games with kids.

I think im going to Kyoto soon for a 3 day weekend so more fun pics to come. I also was in Tokyo I`ve just been lazy and usually without a computer. How does that happen in Japan!?!

My beef with Japan is this.

Nothing is in english. Not that i should expect it to be, but not one store carries english programs for computers.

The problem. I can`t get a laptop here if i can`t read　any of it..

1. I need a computer for entertainment and
2. I need it for entertainment!!!

..my empty apartment is .. well.. empty. And the oh la la im in Japan feeling is long gone..

Not much new in Japan really.

Last weekend i went to Tokyo and looked around. My hotel was in Shinagawa, and I went to Roppongi, Shibuya, and Shibiya. We drove there from my town, and the interesting thing was that driving in Tokyo is easier than Toronto. Everyone takes the subway so the roads are generally not busy. The city is also much smaller than i thought. It has more people than Toronto for sure, but total area might actually be less.

This weekend im heading up to Nikko to see the fall colours and visit temples and have a BBQ at my managers place in the mountains.

Right now there is a typhoon kicking it up so hopefully its over before the weekend. Typhoons arent so bad … just really windy.

I took some pics but im hopeing to get at laptop soon and then ill put them up.
