Lunar
Phase is a little program that sits in the system tray, beside the
clock, and displays the current phase of the moon.
All of the options for the
program are available by clicking on the moon phase icon in the system
tray. At the top of the menu it simply tells you how many more days
there are until the next full moon. Next, there is the menu entry
called
"Animation Enabled". If this is checked the moon will "spin"
periodically, or when you move the mouse over it. If you click
"Settings. . ." the settings screen will appear. This screen let's you
pick which hemisphere you are in, adjust the number of days until the
next full moon, or turn the animation on / off. It also tells you the
reference date that the program uses to calculate all future full
moons.
By default this program installs its self into its own group on the
"Start Menu" and to the "StartUp" group on the start menu. If you don't
want the program to start when windows starts delete/move the icon from
the startup group.
