Endoscopy baby.
So I went to the hospital this morning for a gastroscopy (that’s when they stick a camera down your throat). It was totally easy - I showed up, read a book for a bit until it was my turn and then laid down on a bed. They put a needle in my hand and I was asleep before I could even turn on my side, and then I woke up in the recovery room and I was good to go. The doctor was right there when I woke up, apparently everything is normal in me (at least in that area). The worst part of that ordeal was that I couldn’t eat at all yesterday and today until the appointment was over. Needless to say once it was done I had the best goddamned breakfast of my entire life.

I had one once. It was kinda neat being all doped up like that.
Glad to hear your guts are fine :)

Truthfully though I was hoping for better dope. Being asleep through the whole thing was nice, but I was expecting to have a good buzz after I woke up. Sadly I was sober as a judge.

Bummer, I got to be semi-conscious throughout the proceedure. I had a good buzz indeed, and a great sleep afterwards.

You still having Heart Burn issues or something Luke? Or you just like things down your throat? In all seriousness though, everything OK?

Yeah, always had gastrointentinal reflux, which is pretty much heartburn. It’s all good with a pill a day (Nexium), they just occasionally want to check and make sure there’s no physical damage to my stomach.
Plus, yeah, I like the deep throat action.

I tried nexium once. The acid decided that instead of coming back on me it would go out the other end. At that point I decided having heartburn was better than not being able to sit down.
