God of War.

I just finished God of War. Man, what an awesome game. I was just telling Robin today that if you have a Playstation 2, you owe it to yourself to play this game through at least once. It’s absolutely awesome. It’s short - my save was around 6 hours of playtime - but the whole thing is just totally epic. Seriously though, go get it.

I pushed out version 0.9.11 of Insipid. The big change is that it can now cache the sites you link to. You can just hit the “snapshot” button next to any of your bookmarks and it’ll slurp the page and dependencies into the database, where you can view it later if the page dies or whatever. It even has a semi-decent cache management page to delete entries you no longer want and what not.

I take it back…

That thing I said about the American media growing a spine; I take it back now. CNN this morning is covering two more missing white girls, and is now interviewing the doctor who operated on two American girls (also white) who were on the trains in London. This, in the midst of the Rove scandal. Good job guys!

At least the New York Times is giving the story more than a cursory glance.

Sorry for so much early morning rage; it’s just frustrating to see what the “mainstream media” decides to cover.

Since when has the American media had a spine?

Good Lord, apparently there was an attack in London with 3 subway stations and 1 bus being bombed.

War of the Worlds.

James, Jessica, Chie and I all went out for supper and then to watch War of the Worlds. It was pretty fucking awesome. I had flashbacks of playing Half Life 2 when the tripod/striders were stomping around though :-)
