Firefox 0.9

Firefox 0.9 has been released. It has a new default theme, so don’t be all shocked or anything. Lots of updates and major bug fixes (as usual).

… And if you upgrade over your 0.8 install it kills your settings.

    (On windows, anyway)

Scary. Worked under Linux and preserved shit, but I’m glad you pointed that out.

Not that surprised, really. It’s the third time in it’s short existence that they’ve changed the profile location.

I believe if it was just a straight 0.8->0.9 upgrade it was fine, however, if you’re using a profile from -0.8, it seems to have a problem (application data has Phoenix, Firebird, and now it’s under Mozilla).

That’s just my experience. Browing through the forums seems to indicate a bigger “problem”.
