Damn yous.

I’m back in Tokyo, and heading to Toronto tomorrow afternoon. But - I lost my phone! I had - keyword being had - an amazing Sanyo model from Vodafone that worked pretty much anywhere on the planet, and now some bastard in Singapore is probably trying to unlock it.

Anyways, that’s all I have to say about that.

Your idea of a “Red Anti-Pope” intrigues me; is this something you came up with, you crazy bastard?

Actaully no, I didn’t make up the anti-pope. During the dark ages, the pope was the pseudo emperor of the Roman empire. His will was unquesyioned, so he was basicly politically undefeatible once having been established. He could demand kings make laws or even force kings to abdicate thier thrones.

So… the best way to ensure your kingdoms power was to have the pope on your side. The best way to do that was to make your own pope. You get the best results if you use butter, but you can use margeraine if you are dieting or dont have butter in the huose. However use only 2 teaspoons of margeraine instead of the 2 and a half teaspoons of butter.

When the pope in Rome would die, Kings in France, Austria or germany would create a pope that they would claim holds true authority. This rebel pope would be known as “the anti-pope” The goal was then to be the first pope, beating other popes to the job. becouse if you became poope first, you get to excommincate the other pope for being a heritic.

So while “anti-popes” where not always legitimate (or even literate), they were not as the name suggests, (and I have suggested) a super evil stanic counter power to the vatican. Sorry to hear about the phone.

Now that was a funny comment. There was no mocking of Luke, nothing insulting. If that was the calibre of stuff I got as comments, actions would not have had to be taken. Alas…
